We know there are more than 10,000 people in Iowa who support bicycles.  We know for a fact, there will be more than 10,000 people (maybe even 20,000) riding bicycles across the state.  For every person going on RAGBRAI, there is likely one bicyclist that doesn’t go.  And, there is an exponentially larger group of people who ride bicycles to the grocery, work, or short trips on the trails.  Iowa easily has several hundred thousand people for bicycles.

Finding 10,000 to join the advocacy organization, PeopleForBikes, for free should be be easy, right?  All it takes is one click at http://www.peopleforbikes.org/ragbrai.

Don’t take this for granted. Don’t assume someone else will sign up for you.  You need to act and sign up today.

When we get to 10,000 PeopleForBikes in Iowa, there will be a donation of $10,000 to the Iowa Bicycle Coalition.  But this campaign is bigger than that.  It is uniting our voices, it is creating more change and action for bicycling in Iowa.

The PeopleForBikes challenge is sending a statement that Iowa is the best place to ride a bicycle.  And, Iowa is filled with people who support bicycling and want to see it grow. Iowa is the perfect place for PeopleForBikes.

Don’t miss out on this opportunity.  Support PeopleForBikes by joining for free at http://www.peopleforbikes.org/ragbrai.
