To arrive at the start of RAGBRAI in Council Bluffs, please follow these driving directions. Most of the RAGBRAI activities (RAGBRAI Expo, Food Vendors & Entertainment, Meetings, etc) will be at the Mid-America Center in Council Bluffs (1 Arena Way, Council Bluffs, IA 51501) Please follow these directions and do not follow your GPS directions due to construction and closed streets.

Main Campground and RV Sites (These would be the individual campers and smaller groups that will be directed to fields and business parking lots west of the Mid America Center)
I-29 SB from Sioux City: Exit 52 at Nebraska Ave. Go left on Nebraska Ave. Once you arrive at S. 35th street you will be directed through the intersection. Nebraska Ave will turn into S. 29th Street. At 21st Ave you will meet with Campground personnel who will direct you where to go from there.
I-80 EB from Nebraska: Once you enter Iowa, go North onto I-29. Immediately get into your right lane and exit at Nebraska Ave, Exit 52. Go left on Nebraska Ave. Once you arrive at S. 35th street you will be directed through the intersection. Nebraska Ave will turn into S. 29th Street. At 21st Ave you will meet with Campground personnel who will direct you where to go from there.
I-80 WB/I-29 NB from Des Moines or Kansas City: I-80 WB and I-29 NB will merge together. Continue on that roadway until you come to I-29 North toward Sioux City. Again after the merge do not exit at South 24th Street due to heavy construction. Take I-29 North to Exit 52 and exit at Nebraska Ave. Go left on Nebraska Ave. Once you arrive at S. 35th street you will be directed through the intersection. Nebraska Ave will turn into S. 29th Street. At 21st Ave you will meet with Campground personnel who will direct you where to go from there.

If your large charter or group has been working with the Campground Chair in Council Bluffs to camp at the YMCA Fields, please follow these directions.
Charter & Large Groups
Interstate 80 in Council Bluffs to Exit 3
North on South Expressway (Hwy 192 North)
Left on 23rd Avenue
Right at intersection of South 24th Street and 23rd Avenue
Right @ YMCA athletic fields
These would be groups of 50 or more that registered as Official Charters or have requested space to camp and will be located at the YMCA sports fields or other identified camping areas.
Where is the RAGBRAI Expo?
The RAGBRAI Expo will be at the Mid-America Center from noon until 9PM. (This is the same location as 2009) Look for the return of the RAGBRAI Outlet Tent with the best deals on RAGBRAI Merchandise!
Where can I buy RAGBRAI Day Passes?
Day passes may be purchased on Saturday July 20 between 12:00 noon and 9:00 PM inside the Mid-America Center, enter the West Gates. Day passes may also be purchased Sunday morning July 21 between the hours of 5:00 AM – 7:30 AM at the RAGBRAI Baggage trucks, which are located on the West side of the expo area, along Bass Pro Drive.
Where will the RAGBRAI Baggage Trucks be located in Council Bluffs?
The Heartland Express Baggage Trucks are located on the West side of the expo area, along Bass Pro Drive. These are two large semi trucks. You can not load bags into the trucks until Sunday morning.
