The Quad Cities Bike Club and the Cornbelt Running Club filed suit against the city of Riverdale, Iowa for erecting a fence between the Mississippi River Trail and the Duck Creek Parkway. The two popular trails are not able to be traveled without a detour along a busy state highway. The court found in favor of the city in the original lawsuit, but QCBC appealed. The appeal was heard on February 10, 2022.
