Join riders for the second annual “Ride the Rail” bike ride on the Sauk Rail Trail, the State’s first bike trail connecting two State Parks (Black Hawk State Park in Lake View and Swan Lake State Park in Carroll). The Ride will begin in Lake View at 10 AM and Brunch will be available in Breda(11 miles away)from 11 AM til 1 PM.

Registration will be done the day of the ride. It includes Brunch in Breda, Trail fees, and a Donation for trail maintenance. A wrist band will be given. Registration will start at 9 AM and you can also register in Breda til 1 PM also. Shirts for the Sauk Rail Trail will be available for $15.00 in Lake View and Breda.

Beginning in Lake View at the bike arch trailhead, the ride will travel through the communities of Carnarvon, Breda, Maple River, and Carroll turning around at Swan Lake State Park and riding back to Lake View where there will be a concert on the Stone Pier by the Lake. The concert will start approximately at 5:30 with Thankful Dirt and followed by Jacob County & the Damaged Goods. The Concert is free to all riders and food will be available. Riders that travel one-way(approx. 28 mile) will have to shuttle themselves back to Lake View.
