The Henry County HighWheelers is sponsoring RAHCO (Ride Around Henry County) on Saturday July 7, 2012. RAHCO is an annual community bicycling event that tours the scenic roads of Henry County. The event begins and ends at McMillian Park and has routes designed to encourage riders of all levels to participate. Many riders use this event as a RAGBRAI training ride. The club provides snacks, water along all the routes, as well as an on-call bike mechanic and SAG wagon for those who cannot complete the ride. Registration is a freewill donation and all proceeds go to the Iowa Bicycle Coalition, whose mission is to build partnerships, educate Iowans, and help establish safe and enjoyable bicycle transportation and recreation networks throughout Iowa.
