Sunday Day 1

Here is the complete route from Glenwood to Shenandoah.  The route encompasses 49.7 miles and 2,614 feet of climb.  You can add to that total by riding the optional Gravel Loop.  RAGBRAI will visit the new towns of Malvern and Imogene and the towns of Tabor and Randolph that RAGBRAI hasn’t stopped in for 27 years!

SUNDAY – JULY 24, 2016
Glenwood to Malvern – 13.6 miles
Malvern to Tabor (Meeting) – 11.8 miles
Tabor to Randolph – 7.2 miles
Gravel Loop to Imogene – 18.2 miles(optional)
Randolph to Shenandoah – 17.1 miles

Total Mileage: 49.7 miles
(67.9 with Optional Gravel Loop)

Total Feet of Climb: 2,614
(3,620 with Optional Gravel Loop)

The route (towns and roads) is subject to change.

The full route, along with roads and pass-through towns will be released starting this weekend.   Each daily release should be out by 8:00 am CST.  Enjoy the ride!

Monday, March 7 – release the route for Monday, July 25
Tuesday, March 8 – release the route for Tuesday, July 26
Wednesday, March 9 – release the route for Wednesday, July 27
Thursday, March 10 – release the route for Thursday, July 28
Friday, March 11 – release the route for Friday, July 29
Saturday, March 12 – release the route for Saturday, July 30

Support vehicle maps will be released in early July.
