The Iowa Bicycle Coalition is hosting a day at the Iowa State Capitol on February 9 starting at 8 AM. The Iowa Bicycle Coalition is inviting bicyclists from all over Iowa to meet with their legislators to talk about bicycle issues.
The Iowa Bicycle Lobby Day is crucial because it is one week before the funnel deadline. Bike and traffic safety bills could become ready for the House and Senate Chambers during the week of our rally.
Check-in with Iowa Bicycle Coalition staff will be in the Iowa State Capitol Legislative Dining Room (G15) starting at 8 AM-9 AM. After checking in, bicycle advocates will head to the House and Senate chambers to meet with their legislators. A group photo will conclude the event at noon on the Capitol staircase.
